Position Summary
Optalis Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and mission-driven RN or LPN to provide leadership and oversight for our VA unit and veteran resident population. This leader will ensure exceptional quality of care, support meaningful engagement, and foster a community of dignity, respect, and service among those who have served our nation.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily operational oversight of the VA unit and support the care coordination for all veteran residents.
- Complete timely and comprehensive clinical assessments, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory and internal compliance standards.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to nursing staff, ensuring accountability and adherence to clinical protocols.
- Support and expand veteran-centered activities, peer groups, and engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address clinical, social, emotional, and rehabilitative needs.
- Maintain compliance with all facility, state, federal, and VA-related care standards.
- Serve as a knowledgeable advocate and point of support for veteran residents and their families.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN license in good standing.
- Minimum of two years of clinical leadership or supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of veteran-specific healthcare needs, trauma-informed care, and/or VA care processes.
- Strong interpersonal communication, clinical judgment, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications & Training
- Supervisor/Manager Training
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Gerontological or Long-Term Care certification(s)
- Mental Health First Aid or Crisis Intervention training
- VA-specific training programs or experience working with VA care teams
