Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Ambulatory Gastroenterology – Novi

Full‑time, 40 hours per week with 5‑8 hour shifts, Monday‑Friday.

• Provide direct patient care, including rooming patients, taking vital signs, stocking items, and cleaning rooms.
• Manage patient in‑basket items such as medication refills under standing orders and review patient preparation instructions.
• Rotate between colon/rectal and general gastroenterology units.
• Work under RN supervision and serve as a resource for medical assistants.
• Train in ambulatory procedures and cleaning of endoscopy equipment.

• Minimum 1 year LPN experience in an inpatient or outpatient/clinic setting.
• Prior hospital MA/tech experience preferred.
• Any procedural experience preferred.
• Strong IV skills essential.

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing School.
• Ambulatory nursing experience preferred.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills.

• Current Michigan State LPN license.
• Successful completion of HFHS pharmacology exam.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
