QA Automation Engineer (Tosca + Salesforce) - Salesforce Implementation exp is mandatory Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. This role requires strong technical skills in test automation frameworks, scripting, and continuous integration tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Automation Development:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
Develop reusable and modular test automation components.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or Azure Dev Ops.

Test Planning & Execution:

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and manual testers to understand requirements and define test strategies.
Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data for functional, regression, and performance testing.
Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and ensure product quality.

Defect Management & Reporting:

Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Test Rail.
Work closely with development teams to reproduce, isolate, and resolve issues.
Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in test automation.
Recommend and implement improvements to enhance test coverage, efficiency, and reliability.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to QA best practices.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in test automation and quality assurance.
Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language:
Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium Web Driver, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or Robot Framework.
Experience with API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber or Spec Flow.
Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or Load Runner.
Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., Browser Stack, Sauce Labs).
ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.
