DescriptionThis position provides the service of installing and performing all maintenance and repair on HVAC systems.
Primary Responsibilities- Performs all first-time (start-up) installations for HVAC systems while ensuring compatibility with all other equipment to be installed
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems to ensure the entire HVAC system runs safely and efficiently
- Ensures accuracy and completion of all documentation, including service reports and time keeping
- Monitor and comply with all safety policies, procedures, guidelines, and laws as they pertain to staff and customers within the location
- Ensures all facilities and equipment are in excellent, safe operating condition
- Maintain daily correspondence with staff from all departments within the company, customers, suppliers, and Caterpillar
- Assist with performing service on other industry-related systems such as generators, distribution, and switch gear (Caterpillar, Cummins, Kohler, Generac, and others)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the HVAC field
- Type I & Type II EPA Certification
- Valid Driver’s License
- 3 years or more of experience in the HVAC field
- Universal EPA Certification
- CDL or Chauffeur’s License

- Regular travel (0-25%) during the day
- Regular confined sitting (at computer, etc.)
- Regular non-confined sitting (able to move about at will)
- Frequent standing or walking
- Frequent rapid use of arms, hands, or fingers, in handling or manipulating objects, or operating equipment, tools, and/or instruments requiring fine hand-eye coordination
- Frequent bending, crouching, stretching, or crawling
- Frequent unaided lifting of objects up to 50 pounds; regular unaided lifting of objects 100+ pounds
- Frequent climbing on ladders, equipment, etc.
- Frequent communication with other individuals; must be able to exchange accurate information when speaking with customers, coworkers, and vendors
- Frequent use of near and far vision acuity; must be able to identify and distinguish colors and be able to use peripheral vision
- Frequent exposure to loud noise (need to shout to be heard)
- Outside weather conditions
- Walking on uneven ground (gravel, rocks, mounds)
- Moving mechanical parts and machinery (forklifts, tractors, mowers)
- Wearing protective equipment (respirator, mask, earplugs, gloves, eyewear, etc.)
- Regular exposure to temperatures below 32 degrees
- Regular exposure to temperatures above 100 degrees
- Air particles (dust, gas, fumes, steam, chemicals, etc.)
- Vibrations
- Working at heights (scaffolding or ladders)
Excellent compensation and union benefits.
$44.40 per hour
