Position SummaryMichigan CAT Service Technician is the heart of our business. You will work on and at times lead service and maintenance tasks of our customers’ equipment, while continuing to learn and prioritize safety at the workplace.
Description2nd shift position
Responsibilities
- Diagnose problems with equipment/engines using various methods and tools.
- Perform preventive maintenance on customer products.
- Service and repair work, including mechanical and electrical tasks.
- Identify and source parts required for repairs or service.
- Complete detailed service reports for the Service Coordinator and Supervisor.
- Clean and paint equipment as necessary.
Minimum of 2-5 years of heavy construction repair experience. Highly motivated with the ability to learn new tasks, processes, and policies.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with CAT ET or similar diagnostics tools.
- Experience repairing agricultural and farming equipment.
- Ability to write detailed service reports.
- High School Diploma or Vocational Degree in Diesel Technology, Heavy Equipment Repair, or Welding Technology.
