Seeking a Senior PHP Web Developer with 5+ years of experience to manage custom PHP / Symfony applications, oversee MySQL and Mongo

DB environments, while driving continuous improvement in an iterative development setting.

Must Haves / Mandatory

• 5+ years of professional experience in PHP development, with hands‑on experience in Symfony or similar frameworks.
• Proven experience managing MySQL and Mongo
  
  DB databases and maintaining server environments.
• Experience working in continuous integration (CI) and iterative development workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and debugging skills across both backend and server systems.

Nice to Have / Preferred

• Experience with CMS platforms or custom homegrown applications.
• Knowledge of API integrations and cloud hosting (AWS, Azure, or similar).
• Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for minor UI adjustments.

Qualifications & Responsibilities

• Lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of custom PHP/Symfony applications, ensuring high performance, security, and alignment with organizational goals.
• Manage and optimize server environments and databases (MySQL, Mongo
  
  DB), including backups, indexing, deployment, and troubleshooting to maintain uptime and reliability.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines, iterative development practices, and continuous improvement methodologies to streamline workflows and enhance code quality.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver feature enhancements, technical solutions, and iterative improvements, while contributing to code reviews, documentation, and mentoring of junior developers.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize both application code and server performance to meet evolving technical and organizational objectives.
