People and Workforce Assistant

As a People and Workforce Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting managers and employees across the Trust by providing high-quality administrative and first-line advisory support across a range of People and Workforce activities. The successful candidate will:

• Provide an efficient first-line People and Workforce support service, responding to enquiries received by telephone, email and face-to-face.
• Support a range of People and Workforce processes, ensuring accurate and timely administration.
• Assist with employee relations processes, including arranging meetings, preparing documentation and taking notes during investigations, hearings and appeals.
• Support recruitment and workforce administration processes using electronic systems including ESR and Trac.
• Produce reports and provide administrative support for People and Workforce projects and initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and electronic filing systems, ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times.
• Support managers and People and Workforce colleagues by providing information, reports and administrative assistance as required.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of People and Workforce systems, processes and procedures.

  We are looking for a motivated and highly organised individual with previous experience working within a Human Resources related function, such as HR, recruitment or medical staffing. This is a fast-paced role supporting a busy People and Workforce service and would suit someone who is confident managing multiple priorities, dealing with confidential information and providing excellent customer service.
