1:1 Teaching Assistant - Primary Setting

A welcoming primary setting in Nuneaton is looking to appoint a committed and caring Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about inclusive education and thrives on helping children overcome barriers to learning.

• Delivering tailored 1:1 support throughout the school day
• Assisting with classroom activities and adapting tasks to meet individual needs
• Implementing strategies to support learning, behaviour, and emotional regulation
• Promoting independence while offering consistent guidance and encouragement
• Liaising closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and parents where appropriate
• Monitoring progress and contributing to support plans

• Experience working within a primary school environment
• Knowledge of SEND and personalised learning approaches
• Patient, resilient, and nurturing in your approach
• Able to build positive, trusting relationships with children
• Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or
  3) preferred but not essential
