Job Description
We’re looking for a Maths Lecturer.
The PositionWe are looking for an outstanding Maths Lecturer with a track record of success working with 16‑19 year‑old resit students, and with passion, enthusiasm and creativity to join our expanding team.
We specialise in English and maths retake opportunities (GCSE and Functional Skills) for young people as part of their study programme, as well as supporting them with additional sessions in our English and maths Hubs.
We are looking for recently qualified or experienced Maths lecturers in further education with the ability to deliver predominantly GCSE maths but some opportunities to teach Functional Skills maths within the department at our Nuneaton campus. You will have a passion for innovation, bringing new ideas and embedding new technologies into the learning environment.
ResponsibilitiesWorking as part of the maths and English team you will be responsible for the delivery and development of courses. You will possess an excellent knowledge and understanding of Maths and be able to plan and use a range of effective and appropriate teaching and learning techniques including new and up‑to‑date technologies.
As well as your relevant experience and current knowledge, you will also be willing to obtain a relevant teaching qualification (DTLLS, PGCE or equivalent) if you do not already possess one.
LocationThe role is based at our Nuneaton campus.
Why Should You Apply?- The pay range we’re offering is Lecturer Unqualified 23‑27 £ 28,362 - £31,892 per annum FTE. Qualified 28‑36 £ 32,843 - £41,582 per annum FTE.
