Year 4 Class Teacher, Maternity Cover

The Governors of Middlemarch School are seeking to appoint an outstanding practitioner to join our school for a maternity cover contract starting 1st September 2026 until May 2027 with the possibility for extension. With recent experience of teaching pupils in Key Stage 1 or 2, you will need to be confident in supporting our pupils through junior school, ensuring that all of our pupils make good progress.

Your excellent behaviour management skills will complement your ability to nurture and encourage pupils, inspiring them to do well in the classroom and to participate in enrichment activities offered throughout the school.

Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility and resilience are essential, alongside an ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
