About the role
justteachers are supporting a primary school in Nuneaton to recruit a Year 1 Class Teacher. This is a full-time role with a September 2026 start, fixed term until the end of the academic year. The school has a strong KS1 team, a well-established phonics programme and a nurturing environment that supports both staff and pupils.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality KS1 lessons
- Support phonics and early reading
- Assess and track pupil progress
- Work collaboratively with colleagues
- Qualified Teaching Status or equivalent
- Proven experience in Primary Education
- A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
