Weddington Primary School is looking to recruit two teaching assistants (TA level 1/2). The Governors and headteacher of this happy, caring school are looking for 2 Inspirational Teaching Assistants to work during term time.

The posts will be for a 1 permanent position and one fixed term until 31/8/2027, starting September 2026. Positions are Monday to Friday, 32 hours and 30 minutes per week TTO plus 5 teacher training days.

• Able to keep calm under pressure and prioritise.
• Has experience working with children and showing a high level of care.
• Able to build good relationships with children and adults.
• Good communication.
• Empathy with pupils, especially those with learning difficulties.
• Good listening skills.
• Being patient.
• Being able to take direction but be prepared to take initiative when required.
• Have a good knowledge of how a school works.
