About the role
justteachers are supporting a primary school in Nuneaton to recruit a Learning Mentor. This is a full-time role with an Immediate start, fixed term until the end of the academic year. The school has a nurturing ethos and strong pastoral systems, with a focus on supporting pupils with SEMH needs.
Key Responsibilities- Support pupils with emotional needs
- Deliver targeted interventions
- Promote positive behaviour strategies
- Work alongside teaching staff and families
- Level 2 or higher teaching assistant qualification or equivalent (Must be relevant to working with children)
- Proven experience working with children in a school or relevant setting (That can be referenced)
- A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
