Teacher Active is proud to be working with an alternative provision supporting a Year 11 student with SEND needs in Nuneaton. Tuition will take place within the student's home, providing a supportive environment where the student can engage with their education and work towards their academic goals.

The provision is looking to take on an English and Maths Tutor on a long-term basis for 15 hours of tuition per week. The successful English and Maths Tutor will provide one-to-one English and Maths support, adapting sessions to meet the student's individual SEND needs and helping them to remain engaged and make progress.

• Experience teaching or tutoring English and Maths at secondary level, ideally up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Experience supporting students with SEND needs
• Experience delivering one-to-one tuition or personalised learning
• Strong knowledge of the English and Maths curriculum
• The ability to adapt sessions to meet individual learning needs
• A patient, resilient and engaging approach
