Learning Support Assistant

Monarch Education are recruiting for enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistants to join a specialist secondary school in the Nuneaton area.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support young people with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and communication difficulties
. The school is looking for individuals who are patient, resilient, and passionate about helping students achieve their potential both inside and outside the classroom.

• Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons and interventions.
• Encouraging student participation and independence.
• Supporting pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development.
• Managing behaviour positively and consistently.
• Working closely with teachers, SEND staff, and external professionals.

• Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience is desirable but not essential).
• A positive, proactive, and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience supporting SEND, SEMH, or vulnerable learners would be advantageous.
• Graduates, sports coaches, youth workers, care workers, and support workers are encouraged to apply.
