Working Hours

General working hours are 40–48 hours per week. Shifts usually during the day but evenings, nights, weekends and peak seasonal work may be required. On-call rota applies, especially if holding a company van.

Your Role As a 12d Traffic Management Operative
  • Conduct traffic counts and communicate with clients and subcontractors.
  • Maintain temporary traffic lights.
  • Deploy traffic management solutions – install, maintain, remove temporary equipment.
  • Deploy equipment includes:
    • Cones
    • Signs
    • Frames
    • Sandbags
    • Other essential equipment
  • Mentor new trainees.
What We Are Looking For
  • Qualifications:

    minimum M1/M2, SLG Unit 2 considered.
  • Knowledge: familiarity with Chapter 8 regulations.
  • Driving licence: full licence with no more than 6 points; bans must have expired at least 5 years ago.
  • Testing: must pass drug and alcohol test.
  • Attitude: positive, can‑do mindset.
  • Skills:

    adaptability, flexibility, meticulous attention to detail.
  • Flexibility: able to work weekends, nights and be away if required.
  • Traffic management training subject to signing a training agreement.
  • Welcome bonus and maternity/paternity payments subject to terms and conditions.
