Shift Pattern: 12‑hour Days and Nights (4 on 4 off)

SARVAL Ltd, part of the SARIA Group, is seeking a reliable and motivated Grinder / Shunter Operative to join our operations team at our Hartshill site. This is a key role responsible for operating and maintaining the Grinding Plant, handling raw materials, and ensuring the efficient loading, transport, and dispatch of finished products.

• Operate and maintain the Grinding Plant and associated equipment.
• Shunt and tip delivered raw materials from bulk trailers, skips, and collection vehicles.
• Load and unload raw and finished products onto trailers and tankers.
• Transport finished products to the on‑site Meal Store.
• Operate telehandlers and other plant vehicles as required.
• Collect product samples for quality analysis.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and comply with all Health & Safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with management, production teams, and drivers to ensure smooth operations.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as directed by the management team.

You will be a proactive, safety‑conscious individual who can work independently and as part of a team. You will take pride in maintaining high standards of performance, reliability, and attention to detail.

• Full UK Driver’s Licence
• Experience of manual handling
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Self‑motivated, reliable, and able to use initiative
• Comfortable working shifts (days and nights) in all weather conditions

• Forklift Truck Licence
• Previous experience with shunter driving or articulated vehicles
