CNC Grinder – Nights

Permanent night shift with 12 night shifts every 4 weeks (28 days), providing a lot of spare time and flexibility on this system. Training will be provided as needed if the applicant has CNC machining skills.

Salary:
Starting band £33,516 per annum during initial training period, rising to £36,417 once up to speed, and £38,049 after mastering all techniques.

Established manufacturer of special‑purpose components for the aerospace sector, experiencing significant growth. Well‑established precision engineering business with state‑of‑the‑art milling, turning, grinding, and EDM machines.

• Set up and operate recently purchased CNC machinery across a range of machines.
• Work to tight tolerances, machining a range of high‑value components for the aerospace sector.
• Achieve production targets while ensuring quality standards are met.
• Receive training across different areas as needed.

• Experienced CNC Machinist with operating/setting experience.
• Experience with Starrag machining preferable, but not essential.
• Experience with in a precision engineering or manufacturing/production machinery environment.
• Good all‑round mechanical knowledge and strong attention to detail.
• Ability and flexibility to work a rotating night shift.
• Initial training/induction on day shift.
