Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council is a small Council with big values. You will be required to drive waste management vehicles, primarily 26 tonne refuse collection vehicles, in the Nuneaton and Bedworth areas to empty kerb side household waste, and garden waste bins as required. The role will involve working in a team environment on a set route and will be public facing with potential start times of 6.30am.

• Class C LGV and relevant CPC driver Licenses.
• Team Leading experience is also preferable.
• Good communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Health and Safety in a refuse collection / waste management service area.
• Experience of outdoor working, ideally with moving traffic awareness.
• Ability to work under your own initiative or in a team environment.
• Flexibility and reliability.
• Ability to work in pressure situations effectively.
