Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 16:30 (30 minute unpaid break)

Key Responsibilities Inventory Management
  • Support in maintaining accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Monitor stock movements including receipts, put-away, transfers, picking, replenishment, and despatch.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and identify root causes.
  • Process inventory adjustments in accordance with company controls and authorisation procedures.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy KPIs and report trends.
Audit & Compliance
  • Develop and maintain cycle count schedules.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock audits via the operations teams.
  • Coordinate customer inventory audits and annual physical stock counts.
  • Ensure compliance with customer SOPs, internal procedures, and contractual inventory requirements.
  • Maintain audit documentation and evidence to support customer and internal audits.
Reporting & Analysis
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
  • Analyse inventory trends, variances, and recurring issues.
  • Provide recommendations to improve stock accuracy and operational performance.
  • Support customer reporting requirements.
Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory control processes.
  • Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies where appropriate.
  • Review warehouse processes to minimise inventory errors.
Operational Support
  • Support warehouse operations with inventory-related queries.
  • Assist during customer implementations, inventory migrations, and warehouse transitions.
  • Provide guidance to warehouse colleagues on inventory best practice.
  • Liaise with Customer Service regarding stock issues impacting customer orders.
Systems Management
  • Ensure accurate data integrity within the WMS and ERP systems.
  • Support inventory investigations using warehouse systems and reporting tools.
  • Assist with WMS testing and process changes where required.
  • Escalate system issues affecting inventory accuracy.

The Inventory & Audit Coordinator is authorised to:

  • Conduct inventory investigations.
  • Complete authorised stock adjustments within agreed limits.
  • Recommend corrective actions.
  • Stop inventory transactions where significant discrepancies or compliance risks are identified, escalating promptly to management.
