Join to apply for the EDI S/4 Transformation Lead role at Ralph Lauren

Ralph Lauren Corporation (NYSE:

RL) is a global leader in the design, marketing, and distribution of premium lifestyle products across apparel, accessories, home, fragrances, and hospitality. For over 50 years, Ralph Lauren’s reputation and distinctive image have expanded through a range of brands and international markets.

As part of Ralph Lauren’s Next Generation Transformation (NGT), the core operating systems—SAP, Island Pacific, and Microsoft D365—will be replaced with a common Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution. The ERP+ program is shaping the transformation plan, defining how the company will operate going forward, and leading the implementation of new systems to create a common way of working globally.

The EDI Business Architect will join the global project team to lead the transition of EDI from ECC to S/4 across North America, EMEA, and APAC. Working closely with business, consulting, and technology partners, the role will lead the design, testing, training, and implementation phases, ensuring a smooth transition.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business partners to deliver EDI functional requirements, emphasizing alignment to a common global design while minimizing customizations.
  • Collaborate with technical partners to ensure the EDI technical architecture supports large transaction volumes and meets or exceeds RL business and trading partner SLAs.
  • Rationalize and harmonize EDI mapping processes across Customer, Vendor and Logistics functional areas, managing trading partner variances with a clean, standard approach.
  • Define, design, and implement best practices for EDI and Edge platform transaction monitoring and correction procedures.
  • Lead efforts to retire legacy platforms and services, ensuring a successful transition to the new EDI environment for each regional rollout.
  • Partner with Test Management teams and customers to define and execute EDI SIT/UAT requirements, ensuring accuracy to customer specifications.
  • Work with Change Management teams to plan, communicate, and execute onboarding for external trading partners.
  • Develop and execute training initiatives to support the transition from project to post‑go‑live support for each regional rollout.
  • Define trading partner onboarding processes focused on time‑and‑effort reduction to reach live status for future onboarding.
  • Perform additional functional responsibilities within the Omnichannel Sales tower as needed.

Travel:
Up to 30% global travel required. The role collaborates closely with colleagues in other regions.

Qualifications
  • 8–10 years of experience with SAP ECC and S/4, with deep knowledge of SAP technical architecture, data and process frameworks, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience leading an EDI transition to SAP S/4 within the consumer goods industry; experience in fashion apparel highly desired.
  • Deep working knowledge of SAP BTP IS Cloud Integration and Application Integration Framework (AIF) platforms.
  • Experience with ANSI X.12 and EDIFACT standards required.
  • Comprehensive functional and technical knowledge in Product Management, Sales Orders, Shipments, Billing, Sourcing, and Payments.
  • Strong strategic vision combined with hands‑on execution ability.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills; adept at translating technical data into business‑friendly language.
  • Proven cross‑functional collaboration across business, IT, and external consulting partners.
  • Strong analytical skills, leveraging data for strategic decisions.
  • Pragmatic, problem‑solving orientation, thrives under pressure, manages multitasking, and makes decisive timely decisions with authority.
