OverviewRalph Lauren is seeking a dynamic Brand Marketing Manager, PRO Activations (West) to manage the development and strategic execution of marketing initiatives across the West region with focus on Greater Los Angeles, CA. The Manager, Brand Activations (West) is responsible for building brand awareness and driving qualified traffic to PRO (Polo Retail Outlets) throughout the region with knowledge of the greater Los Angeles area.
The role includes customer acquisition programs, elevated retail marketing activations, local B2B & charitable partnerships, market expansion store opening strategies, and regional PR strategies. This position is a regional role based on the West Coast and requires travel for on-site support, with a flexible schedule (including weekends).
- Develop and execute a comprehensive regional marketing strategy that aligns with national and global brand initiatives and meets commercial needs.
- Drive development of new customer acquisition and retention strategies.
- Develop and execute retail activations, client experiences, localized brand partnerships, community-driven moments, and PR opportunities to drive traffic, sales, and brand desirability.
- Identify high-potential regional brand partnerships to amplify brand visibility and engage key consumer segments.
- Support new store openings, tourism initiatives, and key seasonal moments to drive engagement and new customer acquisition.
- Partner with internal stakeholders, including retail management teams, corporate marketing, and creative teams, to create best-in-class customer experiences.
- Lead the strategic launch and end-to-end ownership of the Clienteling experience across the region, driving personalized engagement and measurable impact on customer lifetime value.
- Manage strategic partnerships with mall centers across the region to drive traffic through collaborative media plans, display concepts, third-party partnerships, and center-led events and activations.
- Concept, develop, and execute in-store activations and community-driven moments at a regional level; own the full lifecycle of planning.
- Manage logistics, including vendor coordination, partnership agreements, event materials, guest lists, etc., to ensure seamless execution.
- Oversee onsite coordination, event setup and breakdown, and post-event sales analysis and reporting.
- Manage budgets for events and ensure accurate billing and invoicing; update global and regional marketing calendars for accuracy and alignment.
- Track performance metrics related to events, partnerships, and activations; provide regular reporting and actionable insights.
- Management experience in retail field and stores.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or equivalent preferred.
- Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); ability to learn technical applications quickly.
- Brand store and event experience is required; events management and local PR experience is a plus.
- Weekend hours and travel required.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
