About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced Interior Designer to work across an exclusive portfolio of luxury properties in Europe and internationally.
This is a unique opportunity for a talented designer to contribute to a wide variety of high–end projects, including private residences, hotels, restaurants, chalets and historic properties. The role spans projects across their full lifecycle, from concept creation and strategic planning through to refurbishment, development, implementation and final styling.
The successful candidate will work closely with ownership and the project team to understand and translate the owner’s vision across the portfolio. They will help maintain a cohesive design standard while respecting the individual character of each property, creating timeless, elegant and highly functional environments that enhance both guest and resident experiences.
Key Responsibilities:Interior Design & Concept Development
- Develop and refine interior design concepts for luxury residential and hospitality projects.
- Translate ownership’s vision into clear design direction across individual projects.
- Create and review mood boards, material palettes, colour schemes, FF&E selections and design presentations.
- Review and improve layouts, functionality, flow and user experience.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of the design direction across a distinctive portfolio of luxury properties.
- Maintain a timeless design approach while staying informed of relevant materials, products, suppliers and innovations.
- Lead interior design work streams from concept through completion.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers and specialist craftspeople.
- Review architectural and interior design drawings, providing recommendations to optimise space planning and functionality.
- Oversee site visits, installations, styling and project completion.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail, quality and deadlines.
- Bring and maintain a trusted network of distributors, craftspeople, manufacturers, galleries, dealers and hospitality suppliers.
- Source furniture, lighting, fabrics, finishes, artwork, antiques and accessories.
- Develop bespoke furniture and custom joinery where appropriate, working with specialist manufacturers and craftspeople.
- Support procurement processes, including supplier coordination, budgets, lead times, logistics and delivery requirements.
- Balance design ambition with cost, durability, operational needs and long–term value.
- Oversee quality control, installation and final placement.
- Contribute to the repositioning and enhancement of luxury hospitality assets.
- Develop concepts for hotels, restaurants, bars, wellness spaces, guest rooms and suites.
- Ensure design decisions support guest comfort, operational performance and service delivery.
- Create memorable guest and resident experiences through thoughtful design, functionality and storytelling.
- Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in high-end interior design, ideally including a senior role within a recognised luxury residential, interior design, architecture or hospitality practice.
- Strong experience in luxury residential projects, with hospitality experience ideally including hotels, restaurants, bars, wellness or resort environments.
- Experience taking projects from concept through implementation, installation and completion.
- Strong understanding of FF&E specification, bespoke furniture, custom joinery, procurement and supplier coordination.
- Excellent design sensibility, with a strong eye for detail, proportions, materials and styling.
- An adaptable and collaborative approach, with the ability to influence constructively while translating the owner’s vision rather than imposing a personal design signature.
- A well‑established network of suppliers, manufacturers, craftspeople and distributors within the luxury design industry.
