Position: Quality Control Team Leader-1

Key Responsibilities

  • EHS Responsibilities – All Associates – Know, understand, and comply with all Environment, Health, and Safety guidelines; report unsafe conditions, injuries, illnesses, hazardous material releases; wear personal protective equipment; attend EHS training; follow safe work procedures.
  • Quality Responsibilities – All Associates – Adhere to all Quality Compliance standards (Data Integrity, Deviation, Lab Investigation, etc.), QMS policy, regulatory requirements.
  • Job Responsibilities – Compliance:
    Ensure compliance with EHS, cGMP, and Quality standards; conduct safety and quality investigations as needed; lead by example; act as SME during audits.
  • People Leadership – Full leadership of a team of analysts in a fast‑moving consumer goods production environment; ensure adherence to safety, quality, compliance, and output standards.
  • Process Management – Establish and confirm standards (4M’s) for managing safety, quality, and output; use Haleon systems (SAP, LIMS, Veeva, Workday) to manage records; update/create analytic SOPs, WIs, and testing instructions.
  • Performance Management – Use problem‑solving and performance tools; drive real‑time issue identification, resolution, continuous improvement; act as lead investigator.
  • Talent Development – Identify and develop key talent; execute regular development plans; set performance expectations and provide feedback.
  • Resource Management – Oversee task assignment, staffing, recruitment efforts.
  • Project Implementation – Coach and support implementation improvement projects; manage scope, schedule, cost.
Knowledge, Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3– 5 years in a leadership role within a laboratory environment in the pharmaceutical industry.
Preferred
  • Experience in an FDA‑regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of GMP requirements.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Understanding of Root Cause Analysis.
  • Ability to lead teams through change and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
