The Digital Transformation and Optimization team is part of Consumer Solutions. We are responsible for optimizing eCommerce solutions and for driving transaction authorization improvement for digital transactions globally. We do this by being consumer centric for our products and services and being relevant in all consumer money flows.

Role:
Ever have your transaction declined when hailing a ride? Can’t watch your favorite TV show because your streaming service payment was interrupted? Denied at checkout when ordering a new pair of sneakers? These are all frustrating experiences for the cardholder that digital merchants are trying to avoid. We are driving a strategic, multi-year transformation to develop new solutions on our authorization network to solve for these pain points.

These new solutions will incorporate innovative products, services, and capabilities to increase digital authorization performance and drive higher conversion rates for our merchant, acquiring, and payment service provider partners. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the product development and strategy of developing brand new solutions that help our merchant, acquiring, and payment service provider partners increase their authorization and conversion rates.

You will work cross functionally with engineers, data analysts, regional product managers, and account teams to understand customer needs and build a product that drives material value for our customers. Unleash your analytical and creative problem-solving skills to define the future of how we serve our customers.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end Product Development lifecycle for our new authorization improvement products, including gathering insights, outlining strategy, proposing new product functionalities, developing KPIs, defining customer experience/journey, and working in partnership with the Technology teams to deliver roadmap capabilities
• Translate product strategy into a roadmap containing well-defined and prioritized business requirements and features that will realize the product vision to assist the client in achieving a long-term competitive advantage
• Engage in idea generation, concept validation, business case development, and financial modeling and planning
• Continually monitor the market landscape to get a view of competitive solutions and opportunities, as well as provide thought-leadership and market insights to support customers and guide product development decisions
• Leverage data, analytics and market insights to come up with recommendations that will drive penetration, adoption, business decisions and development of new and existing strategic solutions, all in the effort to improve authorization performance
