The City of O'Fallon, Illinois, seeks a full-time emergency dispatcher to handle 9-1-1 calls, determine priorities, and dispatch police, fire, and medical units using Omnigo CAD and multiple radio frequencies. Strong typing, English communication, and customer service skills are essential.
Starting wage is $32.33 per hour, with lateral candidates eligible for up to $34.99 per hour based on experience and education; a one-time lump sum of 40 hours of vacation time may be offered at hire.
