Join Mercy and Make a Difference Mercy Audiology is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Hearing Technician to join our growing team in O'Fallon, Missouri. This position plays a vital role in supporting audiology services and newborn hearing screening programs while creating an exceptional experience for patients and families.

Position Details:

What You'll DoAs a Hearing Technician, you will support both clinical and administrative functions within our Audiology department, including:
* Perform newborn hearing screenings utilizing OAE and A  testing methods
* Obtain and document appropriate patient and family history information
* Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
* Assist with patient check-in, registration, scheduling, and front desk workflows
* Support hearing aid services, including non-billable hearing aid maintenance and repairs
* Collaborate with audiologists, nursery staff, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care
* Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
* Follow all safety, infection prevention, confidentiality, and patient rights policies
* Adapt schedules and workflows to meet patient volume and operational needs
* Learn and implement new audiology technologies and equipment as they become available

What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications
* Associate degree or equivalent college credit
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and accurately
* Customer-focused approach with a passion for helping patients and families
* Ability to work effectively with healthcare professionals and the public

Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
* Previous patient care experience
* Previous hearing testing or audiology experience
* Experience working in a medical office, clinic, or hospital setting
