New Graduate Nurse

The Graduate Nurse provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within nursing care standards. They must obtain licensure within 90 days of completing a nursing program to remain employed.

• Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.
• Assess and evaluate patients’ physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs using critical thinking.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans collaboratively, promoting patient-centered care.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities; engage in professional development.
• Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safety at all times.

• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
• Must obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation.
