Join Martha’s Vineyard Hospital to perform all patient exams with the highest skill, fully utilizing ultrasound equipment.

We offer a generous $10,000 sign‑on bonus to welcome a sonographer who excels in patient care and teamwork.

• Produce high‑volume, quality ultrasounds at expected speed and volume.
• Maintain patient safety by securely securing stretcher and using double‑identifier patient .
• Ensure all exam areas are clean, orderly, and equipped.
• Provide courteous, professional care to patients, visitors, and staff.
• Collaborate with co‑workers and hospital staff to promote team efforts.
• Utilize departmental and hospital information systems for patient care.
• Participate in reception area, film library, and transport functions.
• Continuously improve performance through education and maintain continuing education credits.
• Perform sonographic exams across all age groups (neonate to geriatric).

• Two‑year AMA‑approved Radiologic Technology program completion plus one year of clinical ultrasound training in a JCAHO‑accredited facility.
• BLS certified.
• Minimum 5 + years of experience in abdominal, obstetric, and vascular sonography.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

• On‑site; work location:
  One Hospital Road.
• Regular full‑time employee, 36 weekly hours, dayli>
• Pay range: $34.93–$70.99 / hour.
• Grade: SM1218.
