Primary Purpose
Develop, manage, and evaluate key projects and initiatives from planning to post‑implementation. Develop business plans, project charters, and performance metrics. Ensure alignment with management models and drive best practices. Perform financial and operational reports, data analysis, business planning, and performance measurement. Coordinate quality assurance and change management.
Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other emergencies.
Primary Duties
- Lead development, implementation, and evaluation of projects, programs, and initiatives. Provide requirements analysis, performance measurement, and quality assurance. Manage scope, schedule, and budget.
- Coordinate and report on process, project, and initiative assignments. Develop performance indicators and tracking mechanisms. Prepare, review, and analyze reports and controls.
- Coordinate work plans to implement corrective actions identified from performance assessment.
- Support business plans and objectives across departments. Coordinate with stakeholders on business cases and prioritization.
- Lead change management activities. Develop and implement training and business readiness procedures.
- Participate in process improvement task forces. Provide benchmarking analysis. Prepare status reports to leadership.
- Understand business processes and provide guidance. Provide day‑to‑day client support and conduct diagnostics as necessary.
Job Scope
- Individual contributor position. Works independently with general direction. Mentors less experienced colleagues.
- Direct impact on budget. Manages scope, budget, schedule. Drives key projects and initiatives.
- Key to maintaining company image and good standing with customers, regulators, and shareholders.
- Interfaces across Exelon levels in Customer Operations, IT, Operations, Security, Communications, Regulatory, and Legal. Builds relationships across the organization.
- Serves as lead for cross‑functional and cross‑company teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or STEM field with 4–7 years of related business experience, OR 6–9 years of related experience if no bachelor’s.
- Comprehensive understanding of applicable standards and business fundamentals in the specific functional area.
- Advanced proficiency in standard software applications (Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint) and specialized business applications.
- Business acumen and strong problem solving, analytical, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
- Ability to build consensus, establish trust, meet critical deadlines, and communicate effectively.
- Customer‑driven with excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to interact with people at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process enhancements and efficiencies, including new technology.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or Master’s degree in business or STEM field.
- Certification as CAPM, PMP, or Six Sigma Black Belt.
- Strong project management track record delivering complex, multi‑team initiatives on time and within budget.
- Strong analytical skills for project evaluation and business case development.
- Experience establishing and running a Center of Excellence for platform or data.
- Proven ability to gain consensus across diverse stakeholders.
- Salesforce experience.
