Primary Purpose

Develop, manage, and evaluate key projects/programs/initiatives from planning to post‑implementation phases. Create business plans, project charters, and performance metrics to support business objectives. Ensure alignment with management models and principles, driving integration of best practices. Perform assignments including financial and operational reports, data analysis, modeling, business planning, and performance measurement. Coordinate quality assurance and change management activities with internal and external personnel.

Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other emergencies.
Primary Duties
  • Lead development, implementation, and evaluation of projects, programs, and business initiatives. Provide requirements analysis, performance measurement, quality assurance. Manage scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Coordinate and report on process/project assignments. Develop performance indicators and tracking mechanisms. Prepare, review, and analyze reports, controls, and other financial & operational information.
  • Coordinate work plans for corrective actions resulting from performance assessments.
  • Support establishment of business plans and objectives across multiple areas. Coordinate with stakeholders on business cases and prioritization.
  • Lead change management activities. Develop and implement training and business readiness procedures.
  • Participate in process improvement task forces. Provide benchmarking analysis. Prepare status reports to leadership.
  • Understand business processes and provide guidance for end users. Offer day‑to‑day client support; conduct diagnostics as needed. Advise on responses to internal and external inquiries.
Job Scope
  • Individual contributor position with independent work, general direction; mentors less experienced colleagues.
  • Direct impact on budget and key operational metrics. Manage scope, budget, schedule to approved parameters; produce structured reports to management.
  • Key to maintaining company image and standing with customers, regulators, investors through project implementation.
  • Interfacing across Exelon departments; build cross‑functional relationships.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams; support business plans; develop performance indicators.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or STEM plus 4‑7 years of related experience, or 6‑9 years of experience in lieu.
  • Comprehensive understanding of standards, methods, processes, business fundamentals in relevant area.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and specialized business applications (PPM, testing, CRM, etc.).
  • Business acumen: problem solving, analytical/financial, negotiation, conflict management; willing to accept increased responsibilities.
  • Ability to build consensus, meet deadlines, communicate effectively, manage multiple tasks.
  • Customer‑driven with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Develop and implement process enhancements and efficiencies, including new technology.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or Master’s in business or STEM.
  • Certification: CAPM, PMP, Six Sigma Black Belt.
  • Strong track record delivering complex, multi‑team initiatives on time and budget.
  • Analytical skills for project evaluation and business case development.
  • Experience establishing and running a Center of Excellence.
  • Consensus building across diverse stakeholders; facilitation, negotiation, conflict resolution skills.
  • Salesforce experience.
