Job DescriptionThe Investor Relations Communications Specialist plays a critical role in the Investor Relations Communications team, focusing primarily on the design, preparation, and production of quarterly investor reports for over 150 real estate investment funds, as well as designing, updating, proofreading and editing other investor communications and forms. This position requires strong creative skills, excellent written communication skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to leverage emerging technologies, including large language models and process and reporting automation tools, to enhance reporting processes and investor experience.
CoreResponsibilities
- Create and/or update quarterly investor reports for over 150 real estate investment funds.
- Design and produce visually compelling investor communications using Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, maintaining brand consistency and clarity.
- Develop, proofread and edit content for investor communications, including narratives, charts, and data visualizations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal guidelines.
- Collaborate with various third parties and internal teams, including accounting, asset management, compliance, legal and senior leadership to gather data, validate content and finalize report design.
- Support process automation initiatives to optimize investor reporting workflows and reduce manual touchpoints. Identify and implement process improvements.
- Leverage Microsoft Copilot or similar AI tools to streamline content creation, improve accuracy and productivity, and enhance efficiency in reporting and communications processes.
- Create and/or update forms and documents utilizing Adobe InDesign.
- Maintain and update templates and design assets for investor communications.
- Monitor and suggest improvements for investor-facing digital platforms, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
- Be an AI champion—understand, advocate for, and use AI to enhance processes and create efficiencies.
Update landing pages and e‑mail templates in Hub Spot.
- Assist with the distribution of communications, including letters, e‑mail, and reports during high‑volume periods.
- Other duties as assigned.
This position prefers a Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, Business, Finance, or a related field from a four‑year college or university or equivalent professional knowledge and/or work experience.
Experience- This position requires one to three years of prior professional communications, marketing, and/or design experience.
- One year or more of experience in a real estate, investment or finance setting is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for this position, as well as the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot or a similar language model in a professional setting is required.
- Working knowledge of process and report automation tools, especially Microsoft Power BI and Power Automate, strongly preferred.
- Intermediate skills in the Microsoft Office suite are required.
- Intermediate skills in the Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat, are required.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work both with a team and independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to apply style and brand guidelines.
- Experience building agents in licensed LLM platforms preferred.
- Keyboarding skills are required for this position.
Hourly Pay Range: $
32.82- $40.51
