• Lead soccer sessions for children ages 2-8 on Wednesdays 2:00‑7:00 pm.
• Manage groups of 5‑10 children, ensuring safety, engagement, and development.
• Communicate effectively with Soccer Shots leaders, parents, and staff at community centers and daycares.
• Complete required training, certification, and ongoing evaluation programs.
• Maintain a clean, approachable appearance and positive attitude at public and private sites.

• Ability to arrive on time; manage groups of 5‑10 children; communicate with leaders.
• Clean appearance; kind, approachable for parents and staff.
• Proven experience engaging and leading young children; soccer experience is a plus.
• Comfortable being goofy and imaginative with young children.
• Must pass a background check, be fingerprinted, and undergo a medical exam in accordance with DCFS standards.
• Reliably transportation and daily internet access with phone/computer.

• All Soccer Shots coaches complete our comprehensive training program to receive certification.
• Coaches are trained in the use of developmentally appropriate techniques.
• Coaches are routinely evaluated and undergo ongoing training.
• Our program is created under the guidance of childhood education specialists, professional soccer players, and licensed coaches.
