Overview

Akkodis is seeking an Electrical Engineer/ Civil Engineer with a client in Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181 for a 24-month contract
.

Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181 - Hybrid.

Title:

Electrical Engineer/ Civil Engineer
. Duration:
24-month Contract
. Pay Rate: $60-$65/hr on W-2 (rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors).

• Strong electric utility industry experience (or adjacent, but electric utility is strongly preferred).
• Experience with construction project management and utility design work.
• Ability to manage large-scale capital projects ($1M – $5M range).
• Strong business acumen with experience in cost forecasting, budgeting, and financial controls.
• Solid understanding of electric grids, transmission, and distribution projects.
• Track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing projects from planning to execution.
• Heavy emphasis on design work within utility projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
