Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst will support business performance through financial analysis, reporting, and data-driven insights. This role will conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting budgets, expenses, and other financial projects. It also involves partnering with cross-functional teams to support planning, forecasting, and decision-making, while improving reporting processes, and enhancing financial visibility across the organization. How You Will Help Collect, consolidate, and analyze financial information for assigned accounts, products or product lines, or business units to track the organization's progress against financial goals.

Act as project manager for processes including month end, forecasting, and budget consolidations. Responsible for keeping processes moving and adjusting as necessary based on feedback from stakeholders.

Responsible for SG&A reporting for operational departments. Perform advanced financial analysis to support business operations, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling.

Partner closely with stakeholders across functions, including operations, commercial, and corporate teams, to influence decision-making and provide actionable financial insights.

Analyze cash flow, expenditure, revenue, depreciation, and investments to make recommendations for action and/or modifications regarding financial procedures, plans, and controls.

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, or annual financial statements.

Improve and streamline financial reporting processes, including automation and data integration where applicable

Provide guidance, coaching, and support to less experienced financial analysts, helping improve analytical quality, reporting discipline, and overall finance team effectiveness.

Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data across systems and reports.

What You Will Bring Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required; MBA or related master’s degree preferred.
6+ years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), financial analysis, corporate finance, accounting, or related finance functions.

Knowledge of industry-specific financial metrics (e.g., manufacturing, services, or commercial KPIs)
Strong analytical skills and experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.

Experience leading projects and managing timelines. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling, and data analysis.

Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business recommendations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings to management.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with financial planning tools, ERP systems, or data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Exposure to data automation tools or programming languages (e.g., Power Query, VBA, Python)
