Oracle DBA Amazon Redshift

Sonsoft, Inc. is a USA-based corporation organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Georgia. Sonsoft Inc. specializes in Software Development, Software Consultancy, and Information Technology Enabled Services.

• Overall DBA experience (Oracle or SQL Server) of over 10+ years.
• 2+ years of experience on Amazon Redshift (MUST)
• Database design and optimization skills with a strong understanding of performance analysis, tuning, and maintenance to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Experience with distribution and sort keys and column encodings.
• Experience spinning up and resizing clusters.
• Issue analysis and resolution.
• Knowledge of backup and recovery processes.
• Storage capacity planning and analysis.
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux.
• Hands-on experience with SQL statements and query analysis for performance improvements.
