The Content Marketing Specialist is a key member of Inland’s shared services digital success vertical, supporting a diverse range of real estate and finance-focused entities. This role is responsible for developing and optimizing compelling content with a digital-first view and strong emphasis on video production, photography coordination, and multichannel storytelling. The ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about crafting content that drives engagement and supports business goals.
This role is open to a hybrid format with the expectation of being in the office at least 3 times per week and will report to Director, Digital and Content Strategy.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES- Demonstrates highest standards of personal and professional integrity, adheres to company’s policies and procedures, and complies with applicable laws, government rules and regulations.
- Collaborates with marketing leaders across Inland’s entities and Chief Marketing Officer to develop and execute content strategies that support real estate and finance-focused business goals.
- Writes, edits, and proofreads marketing copy for digital and print channels, ensuring consistent tone and messaging.
- Creates and manages social media editorial calendar(s) and content using marketing automation tools (Linked In, Twitter, etc.).
- Develops and publishes content-rich landing pages in Hub Spot to support campaigns and lead generation across businesses.
- Coordinates property video production and photography for real estate assets, working with internal teams and approved vendors.
- Designs and edits visual content including social media graphics, website visuals, presentations, fact sheets, and other collateral.
- Provides cross-functional support to marketing leaders across Inland’s businesses.
- Stays current on content marketing trends, tools, and technologies, and recommends improvements to enhance performance and efficiency.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent discipline required.
Experience:
- 3-4 years’ professional experience with focus on marketing or communications.
- Requires knowledge of financial terms with ability to calculate figures such as percentages and evaluate data in relevant research reports.
Skills:
- Accountable professional with positive attitude and exceptional follow-through.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication as well as organizational, project management and interpersonal skills.
- High degree of creativity with advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) with focus on PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere).
- Working knowledge of Hub Spot marketing automation platform.
- Demonstrated experience creating content for web and e-mail marketing.
- Proven self-starter with ability to work independently and part of a team.
- Ability to work and build relationships across multiple teams.
- Highly organized with focus on detail, quality and accuracy.
Annual Base Salary Range: $
60,000-$75,000
. This position is eligible to participate in the company’s annual discretionary bonus program.
