Job Type: Full-time, FTE: 1.00, 40 hrs/week, Shift 1 (1st shift hours, no holidays or weekends)
Job Summary: Provide radiation therapy simulation and treatments to cancer patients in Radiation Oncology. Document required simulation and treatment information in the hospital EMR. Explain treatment procedures to patients in a clear, concise manner. Answer patient and family questions, deferring questions beyond your competence to the Radiation Oncologist. Perform additional duties as assigned.

- Answer patient and family questions, deferring questions beyond your competence to the Radiation Oncologist.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of therapeutic radiation equipment and principles of clinical radiation therapy.
- Bachelor of Science from an ARRT‑certified radiation therapy program.
- Minimum 5 years of related radiation therapist experience if no bachelor’s degree.
- Certified Radiation Therapist (RT) by ARRT within 90 days of hire.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent within 90 days of hire.
