Shift: Shift 2

Under the direction of a radiologist and/or other providers, prepares patients, performs imaging procedures, and operates imaging equipment. Performs diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and protocols, utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. Supports organizational customer service standards and excellence initiatives. Communicates effectively with patients, visitors, and staff. Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas as needed. Currently working in two or more modalities and meets advanced certification requirements in Bone Densitometry, CT, Diagnostic X-ray, and Mammography.

Other duties as assigned.

One year of current clinical experience in each modality is preferred.

Post-high school completion of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program is required. An additional 1-2 years of college/university coursework or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred.

ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer is required. Registration in CT, Mammography, or Bone Densitometry within 18 months of hire/transfer is required. AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
