Position: Business Development for Growing Home Health & Hospice Agency

Overview

Preceptor Home Health & Hospice is growing! We want to continue to grow and are currently looking to add to our Business Development Team. We are a home health, hospice, and palliative agency providing services in patient homes in 15 counties throughout Wisconsin; patient homes include private residences, assisted living facilities, memory care units, and resident care apartment complexes. Preceptor strives to provide high quality care through our multifaceted programs including home health, hospice, and palliative care.

We have branch offices located in Germantown, Fond du Lac, Waukesha, Sheboygan and Appleton.

Position

Health Care Business Development / Client Care Professional who can build a census and diversify our client base with skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, hospitals, outpatient clinics, doctors, and assisted living facilities. This position is full time -- 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The primary territory will be Milwaukee County.

Responsibilities
  • Build census and diversify the client base by engaging with skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, hospitals, outpatient clinics, doctors, and assisted living facilities.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills with clients, families, doctors, facility staff, and co workers
  • An outgoing personality and positive attitude with exceptional communication, interpersonal and decision-making skills
  • A strong customer service focus, which is demonstrated in daily interactions
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to set and meet monthly goals
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • Dependable
  • Flexibility and adaptability to allow for the unexpected
  • Recognition of the value of individual contribution to team productivity and a commitment to grow your territory
  • Some prior sales and marketing experience in home health and/or hospice is a big plus; however, applicants new to the health care field are welcome to apply.
  • All staff receive thorough training to set them up for success.
