Position Summary: As the Bilingual HR Manager with payroll processing, you will play a pivotal role in our organization's HR and payroll functions. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management, with a particular emphasis on ensuring compliance, fostering employee engagement, and managing payroll and benefits efficiently and accurately.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Human Resources Management:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  • Payroll Administration:
  • Oversee payroll administration, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to management, including tax and benefits deductions.
  • Address employee questions regarding payroll matters and resolve payroll discrepancies.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement:
  • Foster positive employee relations and work to enhance employee engagement initiatives.
  • Manage employee communication channels and ensure effective dissemination of company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement employee recognition programs to boost morale and productivity.
  • Compliance and Policies:
  • Stay updated on labor legislation and ensure compliance.
  • Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure consistent application and compliance.
  • Enforce company policies and perform corrective action measures when necessary.
  • Training and Development:
  • Coordinate employee training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Identify training needs and opportunities for professional development.
  • Translation and Interpretation:
  • Translate HR documents, policies, and communications from English to Spanish and vice versa.
  • Provide interpretation support during meetings or interviews as needed.
  • Environment Health and Safety:
  • Provides guidance and information to Supervision and Management regarding regulatory compliance and hazard prevention as it relates to Employee Health and Safety.
  • Establish a safety committee, lead meetings and follow up to ensure safety goals, policies, metrics and procedures are met.
  • Conduct internal safety audits/inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations. Lead the advancement of accident-prevention and loss control systems and monitor the effectiveness of the systems.
  • Organize annual employee safety meetings.
  • Maintain all OSHA 300, 300A, & 301 Forms.
  • Ensure timely investigation of environmental, health and safety incidents, root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective action plans.
  • Conduct new employee safety training/orientation. Train existing employees in OSHA and environmental required training standards for all employees. Training topics to be covered included:
    Emergency Action Plan, hazard communication, lockout/tagout. Establish training effectiveness guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant proven field experience.
  • Minimum of five years of human resources experience with at least two years in management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
  • Proven knowledge of HR laws, OSHA standards, and payroll compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll systems (e.g. ADP), and Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, decision-making and conflict resolution skills.
  • Must be willing to work onsite. This is not a remote position.
