Lead Setup Manual Machine Operator

Parallel Employment is seeking a Lead Setup Manual Machine Operator for our manufacturing client in the area. As a Lead Setup Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating manual machines, ensuring that production is carried out efficiently and meeting quality standards. You will also mentor and train junior operators while leading by example in safety and operational excellence.

2nd shift; 3pm-11pm. M-F.

Pay: $25-30/hr to be determined, based on experience.

Oak Creek, WI.

Temp to Hire.

• Set up and operate manual machines, including lathes and mills, to produce quality parts.
• Troubleshoot and rectify machine issues during production.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
• Train and mentor junior machine operators to enhance their skills and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of production, inspection results, and machine maintenance.

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree or vocational training preferred.
• 3+ years of experience as a manual machine operator, with setup experience required.
• Strong knowledge of machining principles, techniques, and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities to effectively train new operators.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
