The Operating Engineer embodies the company culture, SQE, and delivers results accordingly. Operating Engineers must control and operate a variety of heavy equipment safely and efficiently. They coordinate with the Site Supervisor and crew to meet goals with safety, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities include performing inspections and preventative maintenance, maintaining a positive attitude, and willingness to learn.

• Proven safe work practices record
• Completion of safety training per Edgerton curriculum
• Ability to lift 75 pounds
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
• Ability to read and interpret project plans
• Good communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
