A modern small animal practice is seeking an experienced Veterinarian Urgent Care to join its dedicated medical team. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who thrives in a fast‑paced, problem‑solving environment and enjoys providing high‑quality, after‑hours care for dogs and cats with non‑life‑threatening conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver prompt, compassionate care to patients with urgent medical needs
- Diagnose and treat common acute conditions such as minor injuries, infections, or digestive issues
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners to guide them through treatment options
- Work collaboratively with a skilled clinical support team to ensure efficient and thorough case management
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records and uphold the highest standards of patient care
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent international qualification)
- Active or eligible veterinary license in the relevant state
- Excellent clinical judgment and ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with clients and team members
