The Gaming Attendant is responsible for safeguarding gaming assets and providing a fun, safe, and engaging experience for guests at Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel.

• Provide a fun and exciting gaming experience for guests.
• Conduct oneself in a manner that reflects credit on the property and encourage others to do the same.
• Provide change to customers.
• Witness and verify gaming jackpots.
• Make minor repairs.
• Perform jackpot payouts.
• Perform paper fills.
• Monitor gaming activities in the assigned area for illegal gaming actions or suspicious activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Maintain a professional working relationship among all personnel.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the position.
• Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.

• 1 year of customer service experience required; prior gaming experience preferred.
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.

Employee is frequently required to sit or stand, walk, use hands to reach, handle, or feel objects, and lift or push up to 25 lbs. Noise level is moderate to loud. Employee may be required to circulate throughout the assigned areas, including the smoking area, actively observing players and the functioning of machines.
