Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel is a newer facility in a high‑traffic area in the heart of Oak Grove, Kentucky, across the street from a large Army post, Ft. Campbell. It is 10 miles from Clarksville, TN and less than 60 miles northwest of downtown Nashville, TN.
Job SummaryAt Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel, the Manager Food & Beverage – Garrison Oak oversees the Garrison Oak Steak House and other outlets as directed by the Sr. Director of Hospitality.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Front of house operations of the Garrison Oak Steakhouse and other areas assigned.
- Collaborate with culinary team to ensure recipes adhered to.
- Embed service culture through training, coaching and accountability.
- Maintain accuracy of menus and update POS.
- Maintain budgeted labor and staffing levels.
- Participate in F&B marketing of Garrison Oak Steak House.
- Provide best‑in‑class dining experience and highest service standards.
- Promote the five “P’s” Service Culture and upbeat positive attitude.
- Recruit, discipline, recommend staffing for team members.
- Monitor guest satisfaction by table visits and engagement.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Work floor 90% time with hands‑on guest service.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity.
- Build interpersonal working relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Assume overall responsibility for performance.
- Detail‑oriented, professional attitude, organizational, time‑management, customer‑focused.
- Strong leadership and communication.
- Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Knowledge of menu development, costing, labor management, food trends, service and overall restaurant operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Micros, Stratton Warren or comparable inventory systems.
- Available to work weekends, holidays, nights.
- Two years high‑volume table‑service dining experience.
- Wine and liquor knowledge required.
- Fine dining (AAA 4 Diamond / Forbes 4 Star) service preferred.
- Extensive training in high‑pace front‑of‑house team settings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality preferred.
- Valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
