Pay Range: $16.00 per hour

Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel (the “Property”) is a newer facility located in a high‑traffic area in Oak Grove, Kentucky, across from Ft. Campbell. The Property is 10 miles from Clarksville, TN, and less than 60 miles northwest of downtown Nashville, TN.

Security Officers at Oak Grove maintain a safe and secure environment for all patrons and employees across 3 shifts.

• Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers.
• Assist in transporting money and chips.
• Control access to restricted areas.
• React to patron and employee incidents and accidents.
• Monitor patron and employee passage in and out of the casino.
• Check for and report safety hazards.
• Answer incoming calls to the facility, direct calls or address patron questions.
• Operate a company vehicle and/or equipment requiring a valid driver’s license, if required.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Maintain interpersonal working relationships among all personnel.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of the Emergency Disaster Plan Manual.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
• Minimum 1 year of security experience in a hotel/casino setting.

The physical demands include frequent sitting or standing, walking, use of hands, reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and speaking or hearing. The employee may also be required to lift, push, and pull up to 25 lbs. Noise level is usually moderate to loud. The employee will circulate throughout assigned areas, including smoking areas, actively observing players and functioning of machines.
