Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel (the “Property”) is a newer facility in a high traffic area in the heart of Oak Grove, Kentucky, and across the street from a large Army post, Ft. Campbell. The Property is 10 miles from Clarksville, TN and less than 60 miles northwest of downtown Nashville, TN.
SUMMARY
Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel (the “Property”) is a new facility in a high traffic area in the heart of Oak Grove, Kentucky, and across the street from a large Army post, Ft. Campbell. The Property is 10 miles from Clarksville, TN and less than 60 miles northwest of downtown Nashville, TN.
FUNCTION
The Security Lead Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all patrons, employees and company assets. This individual will also assist with the planning and strategic input of the shift.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers.
- Delegates Duties and assign responsibilities to staff.
- Investigate incidents and/or customer complaints, compiling data for accurate reporting.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed and monitored during the shift.
- May answer incoming calls to the facility and direct calls or answer patron questions.
- May be asked to operate a company vehicle and/or equipment that require a valid Driver’s License.
- Trains other Security Officers in performance of duties.
- In the absence of Security Management will schedule other security officers on their assigned shift.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Controlling access to restricted areas.
- Reacting to patron and employee incidents and accidents.
- Monitoring patron and employee passage in and out of facility.
- Responsible for checking for and reporting safety hazards.
- May be asked to operate a company vehicle and/or equipment that require a valid Driver’s License.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Maintain interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license
- 1-2 year of security officer role
