Location: Oak Grove, KY 42262
Pay Range: $16.00 per hour
SummaryOak Grove Racing is a new facility located in Oak Grove, Kentucky, adjacent to Ft. Campbell and close to Nashville. Security Officers help maintain a safe environment for all patrons and employees across three shifts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers.
- Assist in transporting money and chips.
- Control access to restricted areas.
- Respond to patron and employee incidents and accidents.
- Monitor patron and employee passage in and out of the casino.
- Check for and report safety hazards.
- Answer and direct incoming calls to the facility and respond to patron questions.
- Operate a company vehicle and/or equipment that requires a valid driver’s license.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
- Maintain interpersonal working relationships among all personnel.
- Demonstrate oral and written communication skills.
- Understand the Emergency Disaster Plan Manual.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
- Minimum 1 year of security experience in a hotel/casino setting.
The physical demands include frequent sitting or standing, walking, using hands, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, lifting up to 25 lbs, and operating in moderate to loud environments. The work environment may involve rotating through assigned areas, including the smoking area, with active observation of players and machine functioning.
