CICONIX is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support the Naval Health Clinical Oak Harbor team in Oak Harbor, WA.

• Prepare examination rooms prior to patient's arrival.
• Assist with patient check-ins, admissions, discharges, and transfers as directed.
• Check patient's vital signs, including temperature, respiration, pulse, weight, blood pressure, and pulse oximeter reading.
• Obtain and document patient's current medical history, drug history, chief complaints, allergies and vital signs on the correct form.
• Perform diagnostic procedures when ordered.
• Maintain examination room stock levels and perform routine maintenance of examination rooms.
• Complete lab and x-ray requisitions in accordance with clinic policies.
• Enter demographic data into the computer upon patient check-in; enter diagnosis and departing time when patient is released.

• Education:
  • Certificate required.
  • Graduate from a medical assistant training program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES or a formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces.
• Licensure & Certifications (Current & Unrestricted):
  • Certified Medical Assistant Only:
    Current certification as a medical assistant by the American Association of Medical Assistants or Current registration by the American Medical Technologists or other formal program.
  • National Certifications must be from one of the following:
    • NHA
    • ARMA
    • NCCT
    • AAMA
    • AMT
    • AMCA
• Experience:
  • One year of experience within the last two years as a Certified Medical Assistant.
• Security & Background Check:
  • U.S. Citizenship and a successful background investigation are required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• Additional Requirements:
  • Willingness to comply with the government vaccination requirements.

$23.36 per hour
